About Meera Centre

Meera centre for Music Therapy, Education and Research is one of the oldest and well established music schools in Bangalore. It was founded by Vidushi Dr. Meenakshi Ravi and Mrudangam Vidwan Karnataka Kalashree Shri N. G. Ravi in the year 1988.

The school was started mainly to provide training in Carnatic vocal music and mrudangam. Today with their experience and immense knowledge in the field of music and its therapeutic effects, they are providing special attention to individuals by evoking relaxing effect, reducing stress and improving physical coordination. With innumerable research and efficient results, they are influencing thousands of lives.

Meera centre is playing an important role in bringing about a shift in perception of music from regular teaching to perceiving it from Holistic Health perspective.
